Vernon Derby Speaks With Joan Gordon Webley, PNP Candidate for West Rural St. Andrew

Joan Gordon Webley

Joan Gordon Webley has her sights on the West Rural St. Andrew seat, and she says she is aware of the challenges in the constituency. It is a large constituency, and the terrain poses a challenge for any candidate to campaign there, she told me.

He website states her mission as follows:

"Joan's mission for West Rural St. Andrew is rooted in her deep understanding of its people and her unwavering dedication to progress. Through listening tours and community partnerships, she has prioritized addressing constituents' concerns while proposing actionable solutions to their pressing issues."

She speaks about people going to work and having to rush home in the afternoons. One of her priorities is to deal with the roads. There are also water challenges in the constituency.

She explains that there are no training facilities in the constituency to facilitate training for the youth.

Mrs. Webley said that the health centres need to be maintained. There is the Padmore Health Centre hat has never been opened. Garbage collection is also a challenge in the constituency. She said all over the constituency, you can see a Riverton City.

Joan says she will target education. Students are not attending school on Thursdays and Fridays in the constituency.

Mrs. Joan Gordon Webley's closing points.
