Who Will Win General Elections 2025?

My prediction for the next general election is that it will be an upset. It is unusual that a party such as the PNP, which was moving ahead, might lose the next election. The PNP was moving ahead in the Don Anderson poll, and my feedback from across the island reflected this. Andrew Holness has gone on the road campaigning, and his impact has been phenomenal.

There is a lot that both parties have to learn from this. I predict that the JLP will win, but the JLP should bear in mind that last year, the JLP was not looking good. The PNP also has to review how it operates going forward. The strategy of targeting the leader will not always work.

The PNP has targeted the JLP leader as corrupt, but the Daryl Vaz bad mind campaign has nullified that. Some people have expressed the view to me that people 'bad mind 'gainst Andrew because Andrew came fram a poor family'.

The 28 bank accounts that Andrew was touted to have have now faded into obscurity. This is now seen as a false narrative. Andrew made a point during his debate last night that has not been handled effectively by his PR people. The idea has been sold that he was found guilty by the Integrity Commission (IC) and he is being investigated for illicit enrichment. The point was made at the debate last night that he is no longer being investigated by the IC because the IC has already sent in its report.

At this point I believe that the JLP will win the next election on September 3, 2025, but dem must tek sleep mark death. My belief is based on the polls, feedback I get from persons across the island, and the way how children and even PNP supporters respond to PM Holness.

What do you think? Add your comments at the bottom.

  1. For the love of my country I pray the Labour Party will
Win the next election. Last night I listened with an open mind only to hear Golding ftom the beginning of the debate attack Andrew Holness personally. I salute Mr Holness for keeping my calm. It was disgusting. I thought Golding would have used this opportunity to tell the nation his plans and why we should vote for him. But all he did was show us how low he could go. As an older person I will never forget FINSAC. So msny people committed suicide after they lost all their life savings. And who was one of the persons thst gained from this …… Do I need to tell you …!!!!!!people with dirty hands shouldn’t throw stones. My fellow Jamaicans please do not let the bomb threats and attacks stop you from going out and vote on Wednesday. Choose Jamaica becsuse you and l love this country. Not by force becsuse of what people say but by love straight from the heart. Vote for the bell of freedom vote JLP

  4. I see that the comments previously made are politically polar and the statements are purely build on emotions. One must remember that there have been corruption on both sides, however, this government is in power and the spotlight is on them. It is unfair and illogical to highlight the opposition’s past when most of its present members were not apart of the then government. We have to look on what’s happening NOW. The Andrew Holeness led government did absolutely nothing to address this plague while in power. I need someone to mention if the quality of life for the average Jamaican has improved or not and if so, in what way/s? As far as I have seen Mr. Holeness’s quality of life has certainly improved by leaps and bounds but not so for the rest of us. He is supposed to be the leader of the country, so if his has improved so should mine.

  7. The practice of updating the voters list only twice per year is absolute NONSENSE.
So I go to the electoral office.
I do finger print, hand print, government issued IDS.
    Give my address, take photographs.
Only to be told 2 months later, I am not able to vote because I will not be on the voters list.
What kind of bull shit is that.
These are the issues that needs to be addressed.
Not where anyone was born, because none of us has any say in that.
