Dr. Maria Smith and Sonia Mills Have Died.

Dr. Maria Smith died recently after a brief illness. She was a cultural consultant who taught at Tivoli Gardens High School and lectured at the University of the West Indies, the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, and the Mico University College. She also served as arts coordinator at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC).

Mrs. Sonia Mills, who was married to Professor Don Mills, has also passed on. To their families and friends, I say be strong.
