Former MP Homer Davis, I do hope that you will not spend time following up on this matter. What oonu want do, hot up di people nerves and start World War III in Jamaica?
Let me advise all political leaders. Be careful when you post things to social media, especially when you do it yourself. Get someone to write your script, direct the video, and also record, edit and publish the video. Using immature young people could derail your political career.
The media house that published this video could have found something more edifying to feature. Jamaicans have become very sophisticated, and they require more than just journalistic hype in this day and age.
Political leaders, when you are going to do an interview, make sure that you are well prepared with the facts. Do not go on the media and get into a fight with the host. Fight to get more supporters, not to earn more enemies in the media. Keep your personal business to yourself. It is not everything that flies is a bird. Sometimes it is best to make things pass.
Make sure to add your comments and show your support for speeches with substance from our political leaders. Let's condemn those speeches that turn us against one another. Jamaica is not Gaza vs. Israel.

Where the news comes first! |
Too petty get on with your job. You are now on the clock
ReplyDeleteNo Forcing of teachers to retire before age 65.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to rank Education systems is how functional they are in terms of degree of civilization and productivity while making lives more comfortable and liveable.
Is Jamaica's Education System is not doing that adequately.
Can you imagine a third of Jamaican students enter High Schools illiterate.
We are we ranked in the world 115 of 195 countries and not in the top 5 of Caribbean countries.
This might have resulted in them being the 3rd most murderously uncivilized on the planet 49/100000.
Then, the 2nd poorest in the caribbean with a per capita GDP of $US7000.
Haiti is #1poor with US$1700.
Education is the foundation that can assist in the revival of a country's economy while making them more civilized being less murderous.
All competent teachers no matter their ages should be allowed to continue their "good" work.
Forcing teachers to retire before 65 should not be allowed in the national interest.
The JAMAICA Teachers Association (JTA) should not have to waste resources and time going to court to press home a common sense decision.
Do not force teachers to retire before the retirement age of 65.
Here are some things our politicians can put their minds to assist the nations development.
ReplyDeleteForget the potholed political ideologies.
Tell me something a third of our high-school entrants are illiterate according to the article above.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell us what percentage of our M Ps or Parliamentarians are functionally illiterate, illiterate, not functionally literate or fully Dunce.
If you join JCF, JDF or to be a seller in a wholesale in Sav,Mobay or downtown Kingston you have to pass a test.
For the Parliament wuk how we never see a test you have to pass.
Any day unnu Jamaican end up with a fully Dunce Prime Minister me sorry fi unnu and the United Nations Court of Justice.
Can you define fully Dunce Bark di Trute?. So, when we see or hear one we know
ReplyDeleteWhat about passing a law that it must be printed on their bags, vehicles or clothing.
The Chief Justice Sykes or Ms Paula could assist in drafting the Fully Dunce Regulations and laws.
This Fully Dunce Parliamentarian suppn getting out of hand.
Ms Nickiesha nuh badda falla dem straighten up and fly right even if politically you on the left.
I listened to the post and all I would do is if he wants to cooperate with your Projects work with him
ReplyDeleteGuess what next election may be voting for you even if he has to "hide and lick".
Just go on big him up take the higher ground you could become another "Forever MP"(FMP) like a PJ,Chang,Bartlett,Seaga,Samuda,MikeHenry or even Portia or now coming Fayval Williams.
Strategy,Strategy,FMP strategy.
