Dr. Phillip Wilson Has Died

Dr Phillip Wilson, JP

Dr Phillip Wilson passed away today after a period of illness. He is a well-known educator who received the Prime Minister's Medal of Appreciation for his 37 years of service to education. His service includes being a classroom teacher at Papine High School and principal at St. Andrew and St. Thomas Technical High Schools. Dr Wilson is also a former president of the Association of Principals of Technical High Schools and a Justice of the Peace.  

Phillip spent his early years at the Wait-A-Bit All Age School, and then he attended St. Andrew Technical High School before attaining a doctorate degree from the Northern Caribbean University at the same time as his wife.

To his wife, Dr Donna Powell-Wilson Bark Di Trute says, "Be strong."

Damaged Roads

The rains have done major damage to the road in Freeman's Hall in Trelawny. I would like the residents in the area to send me pictures of the damage done. If your roads are damaged due to the recent rains, please send me pictures along with the name of the area and the parish. Say, who is the MP?

Street Brawl in Mandeville

I gather there was a street brawl in the cool hills of Mandeville recently. Listen to the comments in the video below, and you might get a picture of what happened. Something is wrong with our people. All those involved in the brawl should spend a night or two in His Majesty's hotel.

Some believe that the bottled spirit was at fault this time and not speeding. Let's await word from Dr Lucien Jones.
