Debbie-Ann Dewar, managing director of the Grove Broadcasting Company, the parent company for Irie FM, will be leaving Irie FM. This is shocking news to those in the media industry.

The information sent out internally states that Debbie-Ann Dewar will remain on paid administrative leave until March 31, 2026, which will mark the end of her services.

Ms Dewar was appointed to this role after the death of Karl Young, the station's founder.
