Crime Scene on Mountain View Avenue in Kingston - Avoid The Area

I received a report of a shooting on Mountain View Avenue in Kingston this morning. This has not yet been communicated to the public. Many people would have avoided the area if they were promptly informed of the situation on the avenue. I encourage the JCF to use the Emergency Alert System set up by media persons. This system allows for the dissemination of information to the public on a real-time basis. This will improve customer service and also reduce the frustration of the motorists who were not sure where to drive.

Less information means more room for the crazy social media creators to sensationalize the story.

Let's hope that the police will use the Emergency Alert System to advise the public when motorists can traverse the area.

The Emergency Alert System allows senior police personnel to submit voice, text, video, pictures or documents which will be shared with all media houses, and also bloggers and media personalities who subscribe to the service.
