Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Says Goodbye To This World

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Khamenei, has been confirmed dead by the Iranian state radio. He has led Iran for thirty-seven years. It has been reported by the BBC that approximately 50 officials were killed in the USA/Israeli attack. One should not forget that thousands of Iranian citizens were killed by the state when they demonstrated earlier this year.

President Trump said that the bombing will continue and that this is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their country.

It is reported that, according to the Iranian constitution, a body of 88 clerics is voted in by the people every eight years. It is felt that only those clerics most loyal to the Islamic Republic are allowed to stand as clerics.

A new Supreme Leader should be elected soon, but the continuing war will not allow that. Electing a new Supreme Leader could also set up the new Supreme Leader to be taken down by the enemy forces.

In the meantime, the BBC says that the president, the head of the judiciary, and a cleric member of the Guardian Council would assume the role of Supreme Leader.

With the continuation of the bombings and the Iranians expressing joy at the Supreme Leader's death, Iran will have a very interesting future. I believe that the US and Israel will do everything to damage the military infrastructure so it will be difficult for Iran to be either a nuclear threat to other countries or to support the various terrorist groups in the Middle East.

  1. I don’t understand, are we saying that ’might is right’?
Israel/America can bomb any country it feels like, commit genocide, murder, kidnapping, political upheaval destabilising a sovereign country and that is ok??
This world is crashing to a halt!!! We cannot continue like this

  2. There has been a history of challenges with Iran over the years. Many Americans have lost their lives because of that regime. Israel and other countries have had problems with this rogue state. If this repressive regime were allowed to develop nuclear weapons unchecked, we could be talking about a different world in the future. Do not forget that when the Iranian people rose up against the state earlier this year, reports were that thousands of its citizens were murdered.

  3. If true that the Supreme leader is dead and information not part of western Psychological warfare it will not affect the war.

His death could also be seen by Trump as a win then accepts to haveva ceasefire on an illegal war ie not sanctioned by Congress or even being within the rules of war by UN standards.

The Iranians know and expect this modus operandi thus having successors in place.
Khamenei is a sick man in his 80s suffering from cancer expected to die soon.

This kind of death instead of in a hospital bed makes him a martyr fighting the Great Satan and its Angels.

Islamic burials must take place within 24 to maximum 72 hours.
This facilitates a quick return to earth according.to Islamic religious practices

The greater the respect the earlier the burial. You are wrapped in a sheet/shroud then placed in the grave with the head facing Mecca, no coffins.
A new Ayatollah will be named in a few hours/days after the Democratic elections of their 88 clerics.

It should be noted that the 90+ million Iranians are mainly Shiites unlike Saudi Arabians are mainly Sunnis.
It is of interest that both groups respect the word of the Ayatollah seen as having Godly authority and
    Intellect.
