A video was sent to me showing the interaction between police officers and a taxi driver. According to the caption on the video, the officers shot the windshield of the car because the driver was trying to get away.
Many of us are quick to say that the police are wrong, but it is not a matter of whether the police are wrong or right. Remember that a dead man cannot testify in a court of law, and many of you who are pushing the fire will not go to court to testify.
If the police stop a taxi driver, the police should have reasonable cause to stop the driver on the road. The driver should comply with the orders of the police. If the police ask you to exit your vehicle, then do so, making sure that your hands are held high in the air.
Remember that an unusual move by a driver could cause the police to reasonably believe that his life is in danger.
The best thing to do is not to argue with the police. The police are not judges. Argue your case in a court of law. Sometimes we fight for our rights, and we end up being dead right.
Police officers should remember to treat all citizens with respect. There is no need to be abusive, no need to shout, and no need to get into a temper. Police work is not personal; it is the work of the state. You are not the law but an agent of the law. You cannot try cases on the streets; you prosecute people, and they are required to attend court to answer to the charges. When drivers do not follow directions, there are always charges in the books for you to make use of. Use up the charges, not your temper.
Bystanders should not interfere with the police when they are doing their work. You could end up being changed and spending a few nights in His Majesty's Hotel.

If the Police is right and doing his ir her job properly then they should wear the Body Camera given to them. Otherwise they are the ones who will be facing the court and vacationing in his Majesty's Hotel.
