Earthquake In Jamaica

An earthquake was felt at about 8:34 in Jamaica. If you felt it let me know where you are located and if there are any damage.You can add a comment to the blog or send a WhatsApp message to 876 816-5261.

The intensity is about 4.69 and the epicenter is in St Mary.  We should be getting more information from ODPEM and the Earthquake Unit at the UWI. We need to know if there will be a tsunami.

I am very concerned that our people are not prepared to deal with an earthquake. We also need to train a significant amount of volunteer first responders so they can help others if they are able to.
