After saying all of that, I will now comment on the video shown above. The source that sent this video to me said that this JDF soldier accessed his spouse's phone, and he saw some action videos with his spouse and someone else. If the story is true, it is clear that this man has no self-esteem. He has committed murder and has now thrown away his life because of a woman. That is what you call a madman. There are so many women outa road a look man. A fool him fool so?
I am probably being too harsh. We need to start socializing our young men and women to learn how to deal with relationship challenges and family issues. All we can hear about is how many students pass English and mathematics. I am happy that I went to a school where each week we had some open and frank discussions with a minister of religion.
I must commend the police officers for their restraint and for getting the man to lie on the ground. The man could have saved the country's funds by taking his life rather than trying to put the police in trouble by asking them to kill him. There would be no need for a trial with judges, lawyers, witnesses, and jurors. The taxpayers will have to meet all those costs.
What a life!
Let's wait on the police to carry out their investigation and for the matter to be taken to court.

We probably also need to teach our people about what to look for when selecting a mate. They also need to know when and how to walk away from a relationship when things go south. This is something that needs to be clear in their minds even before there is any valid reason to end the relationship so that if and when that time comes, you are less inclined to act based on your emotions and do something that you'll later regret, like this soldier did.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason for not hanging Sir is that we are a part of an international community, where except for probably a dictator country they have ceased hanging long ago. Can you imagine if we start in spite of your statistics on the country's sentiments?Can you imagine the repercusions? We need Divine intervention...Believe it or Not!
ReplyDeleteWe decided to agree not to have capital punishment, and we did not consult with the people. We must hear what the people have to say now. The international community cannot override the democracy of our country.
ReplyDeleteIf we are to kill people who kill others then that must be the rule without exception and be applied to the judges and jurors who cause innocent people to be sentenced to death and killed by the state. Many innocent individuals have spent years in jail and have been compensated when released but a dead person cannot be compensated.
