Bark Di Trute has been informed that the government has approved a 16 percent increase in fares to be charged by public transport operators. In order to soften the impact on the travelling public, an 8 percent increase has been granted now, and the rest of the increase will be granted in July.
Bark Di Trute has not been able to ascertain if the same level of increase has been given to the JUTA.
