Richie Sax, a versatile saxophonist, is one of the very talented Jamaican stars who will be performing at Jazz In The Gardens, to take place at the prestigious Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on August 2, 2026.
Many of our outstanding and internationally known musicians were born, trained, and groomed to be outstanding musicians at the Alpha Boys' school in Kinston. Jamaica. Richie Sax is one of the proud products of Alpha Boys School. Richie Sax's early days as a seven-year-old started at Alpha Boys' School.
Starting at the age of seven years, Sparrow Martin took this talented Jamaican youngster and began moulding him to walk in the shoes of the other greats who graduated from the Alpha Boys School.
Richie Sax has performed with the who's who in the entertainment business. Names such as Luciano, Boris Gardiner, Leroy Sibles, Blazing Genesis, Errol Lee, the Bare Essentials, and the Soundwav Band.
This versatile musician will have you on your feet with his flexibility in playing Ska, reggae, dancehall, rocksteady, jazz, R&B and soul.
Richie Sax works with a big international name: Sandals Resorts International. On August 2, 2026, Jamaicans will get a chance to be enthralled by the man who has been thrilling folks on the North Coast circuit.
