He Took Down A Man Who Was Hanging Himself

Last week I had my first experience speaking to someone who had just attempted to commit suicide in Cross Roads. What an experience it was. I felt his pain, his hopelessness, his loss of hope. Some of us will say, "What a fool, man."

You never know when you might lose control of your mind, so never believe it cannot happen to you.

If this man ends up committing suicide, then the Ministry of Health and Wellness has failed him. Nobody from the Ministry of Health has come to visit this man as yet in Cross Roads. I have called numerous times since last week.

Today I went back to look for him, but he was nowhere to be found. Sam Carty, president of the Cross Roads Route Association, and other transport operators tried to assist him today.

I found Ossie, the man who prevented the suicide attempt last week. This week I spoke with Ossie, who saved a man from taking his life. We are still waiting for assistance for the man from the Ministry of Health.
