The following is a release from the Tax Administration Jamaica:
Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise all motorists who have submitted their applications for the Renewal of their Driver’s Licence cards, up to March 1, 2021, to visit the Tax Office were the application was submitted, to pick up the printed card. Driver’s Licence holders who submitted applications for
renewal, can collect their printed cards at the Tax Office where the
application was submitted by taking along their current/expired card and their
receipt. For those persons opting to have someone collect the printed Driver’s
Licence card on their behalf, that individual must present a letter of
authorization signed by a Notary Public, Consulate or Justice of the Peace
(JP), along with a valid form of national identification.
