Former Nannyville Don Killed - Residents Reported That He Got 16 Shots

Many  years ago I took upon myself to lobby for people. I still cannot understand why I took that up. Subsequently I really got caught up in it when a man called me one night literally crying and saying that he was about to lose his house. This man had bought a bus which many called Dina bus (Called Dina bus because someone did the unthinkable. Used old Dina chassis to make buses and sell them as new). I ended up even travelling to Mexico to deal with that challenge. I was able to get back over JAD75 million for the transport operators. There is more to that story which I will tell you about one day. I know you want to know if I got any of the money? The truth is, the moment the transport operators got back their money they disappeared in thin air.

I had another major battle to deal with and I will only give you a shortened version of that story also. I was head of the Citizens' Initiative Organizaton in the 1990s and I got a complaint that home owners in Nannyville Garders off Mountain View, were unable to get their land titles for their homes.

I decided to fight for them and this got me into conflict with the political directorate and some rough necks in the area. I went there to have a meeting with the residents one Sunday afternoon to put forward a plan to resolve this problem. Well a political bad man who was close to the political directorate, decided that there would be no meeting. I really felt that we were all mad challenging a Don who was heavily armed and the police who were nearby, where apparently scared to take action.

We eventually won the war and the MP who had given the documents to his lawyer friend, had to hand over the documents to the residents. Years later I was on Port Royal Street in Kingston, when a young man came and hug me up and said to me, "Mr. Derby yu a good man". I did not know what he was talking about nor who he was, until he told me that he was the Don called Drama. His real name is Errol Lawrence.

Yes Drama who had a terrible past and who I was told had to be bailed from prison by the the MP was now a changed man. This afternoon I got a call from a former resident of Nannyville, telling me that Drama was murdered after getting approximately 16 shots.

Yesterday I celebrated another year and the man who I believe was going to take my life some years ago has been killed with guns. I really feel sorry for him because he had changed his life. This is a reminder to all bad men and leaders who support bad men that retribution is a hell of a thing.  There can be retribution even when you turn your life around.

Those who have ears to hear, let them hear. We do hope that the tense atmosphere in Nannyville Gardens does not escalate to full scale violence in that area. That could spill on to Mountain View and surrounding areas. These bad men seem to be running things these days! Councillor Andrew Swaby must be a nervous man at this stage and so would be MP Julian Robinson. The police should step in now before it is too late!

A real lesson here too is that once you join up with BADMAN LIFE there is no way out it's DEATH OR YOU MAY BE LUCKY TO BE IN PRISON.
