Thanks For The Love Shown As I Celebrate Another Year Of My Life

Many of you know that when if comes to my birthday, I just play it by air. Nothing was planned for my  birthday yesterday, July 31. I certainly was not expected to be overwhelmed with the various messages that I received yesterday, and I continue to receive today. This was triggered by a caller who called my programme on Friday to wish me Happy Birthday.

To all of you, your strong support will allow me to live for possible another 50 years😅.

I have known for many years now, that love values far more than any material thing that one gets. I really appreciate the love that came my way. It is your love and the will of God that has kept me going. Thanks to you all for remembering me and continue to remember others also, especially at this time. From the depths of my heart, I give you the same love that you have given to me.

Two touching things happened to me yesterday. I taught this youngster many years ago while I was a teacher at Papine Secondary School. After not hearing from him for many years I got a message wishing me all the best yesterday. He now lives in Philadelphia. I saw my son's friend yesterday. He is is now closer to me than my own son and he keeps in touch with me on a regular basis. The love and respect shown to me by this grown man who still refers to me as Uncle, is unbelievable.

Thanks again for the love shown by friends, families and those who just support the work that I do - I really, really appreciate it. I have tried to respond to all messages but I know that I will miss some of your messages but please understand.
