I received a report from one of my on the ground reporters this week and the reporter has sent me some pictures of the Slygoville Road. There is a NWC pump house in
Bottom Jackson. This is the Pump House that is overflowing the reporter says. It overflows at
least 20 times per month.
The reporter says, "I pass it overflowing while Slygoville residence has no water. Water has to be trucked to us. Many parts of Jamaica are experiencing drought while water is going to waste in Slygoville. Both pump house are overflowing as I write. NWC worker goes there everyday and nothing is done. We need water in our pipes. Who pays for that water going to waste?"
I hope this matter is dealt with as soon as possible because this is money flowing down the street.

ReplyDeleteWhen these things happen the water commission cannot know unless the citizens report it, so the moment they see such things happening they need to call water commission
ReplyDeleteCitizens do report these things. Matters like this are brought to my attention because citizens want action to be speeded up.
DeleteKeep your good work going Vernon
