Car Thieves Target Roehampton Circle

One car found in the park.

Residents have complained to me that car thieves are at it again in the Roehampton area in Kingston.

Last night two RAV4 were targeted. One was blocked by another car so the criminals damaged the car that was blocking the Rav4. The other vehicle was found in the park where robbers allegedly took parts from the vehicle.

I hope that the police is making use of the technology to track and to store information collected at these crime scene, so that if evidence is found on another crime scene then they will have enough evidence to put away these culprits for a very long time. For example, did these criminals leave any DNA evidence which could link them to other crime scenes. A strand of hair for example could have been left in the vehicles.

Note: Many young persons have gone to the beach and to nearby rivers on Good Friday in the past and  they have lost their lives by drowning. Check to find out where your children are at this time.

Our police don't/can't secure Crime scene. As for DNA, we have data bank? (Watching too much CSI🤣)

So many police software solutions are available that could help solve Jamaica's issues with inefficiencies or curruption. Integrated incident management, evidence tracking, fraud investigation, case management, workflow creation with timelines and more, getting around excuses and opportunities for loss of data, general inefficiency and curruption. We need to invest in the technology - would pay for itself in no time.

On a whole we have lazy policing that will not get anyone very far.Its much easier to target lights on cars or a few taximen.Real thieves are a challenge and man just want to do their work and go home in peace.
What you see I am willing to bet is END OF STORY.
Back to targeting lights, all the motorist has to do is switch off the lights or lef or right it off.

DNA Mr Derby?!😂😂 Our police would go through all that to find car thieves? I'm not so sure about that, maybe if they were getting promotion for catching them it would make a difference.thief strip my car already and until today I don't hear zilch, and I had to drive the car to the station, they didn't come on the spot

Lazy JCF minds/bodies among leadership influencing followership a recipe for doing nothing and achieving nothing.Oh maybe when you get Republican status and politicians become judge jury and executioner things will be better.
By the way the year we got Independence we had 63 murders fast forward to 2021 we had 1400.
A third of Jamaica is squatting also about 1,000,000 citizens.
98% of the mainly black population own no more than 5% of the Jamaican economy.
You see some of the reasons y we have all these creative individual economic activities including car stealing. We need to build out and deepen our intelligence networks in all communities, streets and lanes accross the country men and women included.Thats the only way to nip the crime and murder rate in the bud.
Car stealing not difficult to nab they steal in groups comprised a s follows:
A mechanic
An expert driver
A locksmith
A motor vehicle electrician.
A shooter
All these skills are on board in whatever number of persons.
Some steal to order eg one 2015 burgundy Toyota Corolla.
The business of car stealing is not as random as it seems.
