Ms La Sonja Harrison is the new President of the Jamaica Teachers Association(JTA) and she will join me on air during Be My Guest on Monday, August 29, 22.  This president could turn out to be a fiery President who will put up a strong fight for her teachers. So far she has already stepped into the news center stage, and she has played a major role in highlighting the fact that many teachers are migrating because of the working conditions in Jamaica.. 

She has strong concerns about the type of family life we have in Jamaica and the impact it is having on the society. One thing for sure, and that is she seems ready to keep Minister Fayval Williams on her toes. The Minister is confident that she is managing well. Interesting days are ahead as we watch these two ladies deal with the matter of education in Jamaica.
