Student Drowns at Campion College
Someone just sent me a message telling me that Jordon Gibson a Campion College student drowned in the school pool yesterday. According to reports, this student suffered from epilepsy.
Someone needs to tell me, why do you allow someone with epilepsy to go into a pool and the person is not closely supervised? The story on the Internet said that the doctor gave the go ahead for this student to participate in swimming. I am sure that the doctor did not say that the student should go into the pool without proper supervision.
Someone must be held accountable for this incident.

I saw a release from Juici Patties about their staff members who found themselves getting scammed by cow thieves. What was embarrassing was that the workers went to pick up these animals with one of the company's truck.
I have some questions to ask:
- Why did the company have to advertise that it wanted cows to buy?
- Did the company ask RADA to give them a list of registered farmers who are authorized to sell these cows.?
- Did the workers know the persons who they were buying these cows from?
I must say, "Only in Jamaica'.

Please answer these questions, based on the statement issued by Juici Patties. After weighing the animal at the abattoir and calculating the price the owner refuses to complete the transaction, who transports the animal back to the owner's premises? In addition, is there a cost to the owner to transport the animal back to the premises as the proposed transaction has failed?

ReplyDeleteThe whole Juici patty saga is very embarrassing, doesn't matter what they say. It just looks as if they were trying to do some backdoor deal and it back fired ,who knows if it's not something done already. it doesn't look good at all.
ReplyDeleteThe way the system set you can beat the system but kind of difficult.Remember you are not paid on spot.The cow go in get weighed and priced then a cheque is written or money wired to account.What trigger alarms is that one person a hitch refused to give adequate particulars then people bawl out seh they lose animals that man run weh when police a come.
DeleteMr Derby nothing is perfect and in a free market capitalist system people do their own thing and RADA may not be contacted before advertising just like you have a car to sell or some eggs you just advertise but always remember "BUYER BEWARE".No system is perfect and things will sometimes fall through the cracks and this case it didn't.The alert people and police stopped that praedial thief.

We tend to call all animals that resemble Cows cows.The animals in question could have been a combination of all of the above.
Juici Patties should not be daunted and must continue to be of service to small and large farmers throughout Jamaica.
