Brian Bowen "Di world want fi know him" is a broadcaster by profession and a servant of the community at heart. He is a firm believer that in order to live a fulfilling life we will have to love others as we love ourselves. Hailing from the challenging community of Mt Salem Montego Bay, didn't deter Brian from being an esteemed Cornwall College graduate. During those formative years of his life he was fully engaged in the St James's youth club. So notable was his contribution to his youth organization that he was once bestowed the honor of "Boy of the year”. As an adult, his continuous involvement in the youth clubs has earned him multiple tokens of recognition from his work and contribution to the community. 

Brian was also actively involved with the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) and the  Social Development Commission (SDC) where his work in artistic expressions and development has earned him  multiple accolades and high regards in the commission.

As a professional with 16 years of experience under his belt his expertise as a broadcaster and a DJ has contributed significantly to the quantifiable advancement of the Mello FM group. Brian’s relaxing evening show 'REGGAE FUSION' can be heard on Riddim FM  Mondays to Thursdays at 5 pm- 9 pm (1700 - 2100 hours EST). You will be missing a great deal if you miss him on Sunday mornings on the SUNDAY MORNING VIBES at 9am - 1pm (0900 to 1300 EST) where his inspirational religious selections will have you singing and dancing. He is also pivotal behind the scenes working magic at Mello FM and this is felt immensely by co-workers, audience and listeners. 

After spending many years in the hospitality industry, the now radio DJ has developed a great likeness for food and good service. 

Beyond his family life his passion and energy are clearly observed in his love for football and dominoes. He's self-described as a simple guy who believes in turning the other cheek. He is also very emotional especially when it comes to people and their lives. Brian is jovial, dedicated, compassionate about people and deeply empathetic about the welfare of our nation's children.
