The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that it is still working to address the water supply challenges impacting some St. Andrew communities.
The issues have caused intermittent water supply disruptions to customers served from the Havendale Deepwell facility.
The company is advising that it will continue to supply the affected areas via the interim piped distribution network that was implemented, while water will be trucked to the elevated areas to augment supplies.
The company is also noting that repairs to the damaged pumping unit for the Havendale Deepwell facility are expected to be completed by Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Impacted areas : Hydra Drive, Havenmeade, Smokeyvale, Ursa Major, Havendale, Meadowbrook, Meadowbrook Estate, Meadowbrook Mews, Red Hills Bvld to Valentines Dr. (Price Mart), upper sections of Molynes Rd- to the intersection of Washington Blvd, Mannings Hill Rd, Sullivan Avenue, Perkins Bvld, Queensborough, Queensbury, Roehampton, upper sections of Constant Spring Rd.
