Theatre sources have just informed me that well known playwright, and actor Ginger Knight has passed on. He has written and produced aproximately sixteen plays and one movie (Room for Rent) and was lead actor in most of them. He has also written five screenplays.
Ginger is a past student of Kingston College. Some of his productions that you might recall are Boy Blue, Whiplash, Deportee and Room For Rent.

RIP Ginger. We worked at Citibank some years ago before he left to be a playwright. Very jpvoal and humble soul, and the last time I saw him was at the Anglican church in Vineyard Town he wasn't doing well.

DeleteI was introduced to Ginger by Oliver Samuels to be his lighting director/opetator for his first play "Underwriter Undercover" which was staged at the Mutal Life Auditorium in 1978 RIP Ginger
