More Fires!
More fires continue to break out in various areas across the island. The pictures shown below, were sent to me by residents close to the fires, now blazing in the St. Andrew Hills. Persons in the area are concerned that they could lose their homes. Our fire brigade officers are now busy on the scene fighting the massive blaze.
Congratulations to the members of the Fire Brigade Service who have been doing a great job today. The citizens have ask me to thank you. I will thank you on air also.

Congrats to Yard Empire!
Congratulations to Terry Salmon and her team at Yard Empire, who have done significant work with youths at risk. The youngsters got three Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal. Two Golds for guitar, one Gold for the Recorder and one Bronze for drumming.
The youths competed in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission Music Finals recently.
More Water Challenges
The following is a complaint from a SpotOn listener:
Mr. Derby our water chalenge continues re Goshen, St. Elizabeth. Come home after 7:00 pm and very low pressure - call it trickling from the pipe. We do not have water problem so I do not know the reason this continues. Tell you.
