Minister Marlene Malahoo Forte for SpotOn - Constitutional Changes Necessary?

Minister Marlene Malahoo Forte

My special guest on SpotOn With Vernon Derby on Riddim FM, Thursday, April 20, 2023, will be Minister Marlene Malahoo Forte. She is the Minister of Legal & Constitutional Affairs. This is the first time that the minister will join me to have a full discussion on the government's plan to move ahead with certain constitutional changes. You cannot afford to miss it!

Many of us did not show much interest when our first constitution for independent Jamaica was being crafted. This time we must make sure that we are involved. Your involvement should not be about as a party supporter, but as a Jamaican who wants the best for this great little nation.

Send your question and your opinions by voicemail to (876) 816-5261. You might want to ask a simple question such as, 'Why are we changing this constitution?' or 'What is this constitution?' You must make sure that your voice is heard and SpotOn will give you the opportunity for your voice to be heard.

Opal Lee, lawyer, and immigration consultant will be my guest on Travel Matters. If you have questions to ask her, then sent me a WhatsApp message to (875) 816-5261.

Remember to send your complaints and/or commendations about persons and organizations to (876) 816-5261 and I read them on air and forward them to the relevant authority for them to be dealt with.

The article you posted by Micheal Spence is those changes Jamaica needed. Not constitutional changes. If our people is highly illiterate, then the constitution is not worth the paper it is written on.
