The Rt. Rev. Gary Harriott is an Ordained Minister of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands; presently serving as the Minister of the Bryce Charge of Churches, consisting of Bryce, Pike, and Robin's Hall United Churches in Manchester. In April of this year, he was installed at the 43rd Synod of the United Church to serve a second term as Moderator. He is the immediate past General Secretary of the Jamaica Council of Churches (JCC) and has also served as Secretary to the Jamaica Umbrella Groups of Churches. Rev. Harriott believes in Community Transformation and Development and believes that the church can play a critical role toward that end.

Charlton McFarlane is a trained Health Economist and Health Systems expert with over fifteen (15) years of experience in Public Health in the Caribbean. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies Mona Campus where he earned a degree in Economics and Statistics. He has a post-graduate degree in Health Economics from the University of York in the United Kingdom. 

In his former capacity as Director for the Health Systems Improvement Branch within the Ministry of Health, Jamaica, Mr. McFarlane served as principal advisor to the Minister of Health on all policy matters relating to health system strengthening and had specific oversight responsibilities for health financing, public private partnership, health technology assessment, policy appraisal, and health system governance.

Charlton McFarlane may be the youngest Registrar General Jamaica has ever had.  He has also worked with the Office of the Prime Minister, NIDS Secretariat serving as Project Coordinator with direct oversight for the transformation of the Registrar General’s Department into the National Identification and Registration Authority.
