Please look at the video below and tell me why the police have to stop me and ask me for my licence and the documents for my car? If I don't have the car documents, why should they issue a ticket? Just to collect funds?
If I don't have my car licence, the police should be able to use my fingerprint to verify who I am. I would volunteer to give them my fingerprint.
For the past few months, I have been stopped a few times by the police. I might be a person of interest! One stopped me, called my name and gave me a ticket for not putting on my indicator light. It would have been great if I was given a warning ticket. This is the third ticket that I have received in my entire life two of which were questionable.
I had a choice: 'lef', 'write' or go to court. I prefer to be in the right and I took 'write' even though I did nothing wrong. It was more cost-effective to take the wrong and get a 'write'. I will continue to be right and might end up getting a few more 'writes'.

TMI!! Why inform the criminals as wel?
While they are coming up with the plans to defeat the criminal's. It really leave me wondering. How serious are we about crime in this beautiful country of ours. Communities are stinks with the guns. What is being done to get the guns from out the hands of Evil doers? We do have the gadgets to get the guns out the wrong hands. However; because of the lack backbone and accountability to do what is right to clean up the country of so much evil. Why did they take Mr. Adam of front line duty? This man no play with evil. He did not give the criminal's a space to breathed. Now we are seeing documentary with criminal's net work telling you how them target places and businesses that handling cash. What do we have in place to combat these types of evil behaviors. What are we really doing to lock off and lock down these types wayward practicing. We need to come with better plans to combat these evil criminal's. Too much talking and less gadgets being used.
I read the post and am not sure I follow the person. I live in the USA and although the police have very fancy electronics (computers, license tag readers, etc), you still have to have your documents on you if stopped. Yes, I was confused by this since they have the info on the car before they stop you, I can only assume it is to protect other motorists who will NOT have access to the info in case of an accident. The other incident regarding not having a turn signal, kudus to the police. I didnt even think Jamaicans bothered with signals, the indiscipline is so ingrained! However, if the person feels as if they are being personally targeted with harrassment, then I hope their is recourse. However, I have a feeling any attempt to enforce rules on the roads is going to feel like persecusion to many.
A valid Identification of the driver and taking a picture of the driver is possible the best action to take. Some drivers have fake documents. Persons are also known to to put on illegal plates.
Wrong doer or not, on't be that willing to give up your finger print.
Best to have license and registration on hand. There is a cost to run those checks on your license and registration. Guess it will be included in the ticket price.
