What's Happening? November 2, 2023

Phone Calls Illegally Redirected?

I had a very interesting report recently from the management of L.P. Martin Funeral Home located in Port Maria, St. Mary. They report that their telephone line is being forwarded to another competitive business entity in the area.

The company says that although it has reported the matter to FLOW, the management of FLOW has not updated them on their findings. Reports have been made to FLOW over two months now.

It would be interesting to know if other business organizations in Jamaica suspect that this is happening to their business telephone lines. This is an interesting way to divert customers from one company to another. If you suspect that this is happening to your organization's telephone line, send me a WhatsApp message at 876 816-5261. You can also use the report link on the right side of this page.

The Executive Chairman of L.P. Martin & Company Ltd is  Zachary Irwin and the company's telephone number is 876 656-2430. The company is located at Brimmer Hall, Baileys Vale Road, Port Maria, St. Mary

An Organization Adds Comment to Blog Which is an Advertisement!

An organization promoting itself as Kreation Flowers Gifts and Things tried a thing by adding a comment to my blog which was really an advertisement. One would expect this organization to be able to place an advertisement on the radio, on TV, on the internet or in the newspaper.

Can you imagine an organization piggybacking on my little blog? Things must be very tight with them. I certainly would be wary of doing business with an organization which stoops so low. This organization should be assisting me financially to help the thousands of Jamaicans that I continue to assist.

Flash Flood Watch Discontinued

The Meteorological Service has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch:

For St. Mary, Portland, St. Thomas, Kingston, St. Andrew, and St. Catherine,

Effective immediately.

The Broad area of Low Pressure currently across the central Caribbean which has been affecting weather conditions across Jamaica, has been drifted slowly west and away from the island.

Although a Tough remains across the island, observational data indicates a reduction in showers and thunderstorms across eastern parishes and St. Catherine.

The forecast is for partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thunderstorms especially across eastern parishes and coastal areas tonight and tomorrow morning.  Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms especially across eastern parishes and windy conditions expected tomorrow afternoon.

Good morning, since FLOW has been mentioned I would like to add that their customer service/response is almost non-existent, the funeral home has been waiting over 2 months for a response, I've been waiting way over 6 months!

It has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous!! FLOW must do better!

Do they even care?

Please click on the Report Link on this page and record your report about FLOW. Give your name, the number that is being reported and add details about the problem. State what actions have been taken and the response from the company.

Instead of having so much employees on the road why not send some of them into training to help upgrading the system. Then you have some in the system that is always holding the people at ransom in making some extra bucks. Honestly; Jamaica system is very dangerous and dirty and if you are not smart and learn to dance through their systems 🐕 nyam you supper. I honestly don't think flow can go any lower than that.
