I just got word from an unknown source that there was an accident in St. Anns Bay near Pearly Beach a short while ago. 6 persons are dead. The JCF station in the area is not releasing any information about the matter.
Editor's Note
The police need to post information like this on their website in real-time. This will reduce the fake news circulated on social media internationally. We need to allow each police division to communicate with the public about crime and accidents in their area. Such real-time information might assist the investigators in getting information from the public.

ReplyDeleteThis is a real horror of an accident the worst in recent history with 6 dead one time.
ReplyDeleteCondolences to all families concerned.
We will not be able to eliminate accidents but only their severity.
As the number of vehicles increase so to will accidents.
Many out there just press gas and feel sweet not real drivers.
Those illmannered ones are a danger to mankind.Basic Manners just to blow or flash lights when about to overtake someone.
We have all kinds of days how about "A NATIONAL DAY OF MANNERS"
With common courtesies make every day your own "MANNERS DAY" today.
Good morning my fellow Jamaicans, I agree 100% with 'Good Manners Day' we need such a day! Maybe a 'Cut your Speed Day!' as well??
ReplyDeleteI feel for the families affected by this tragic accident. We need to highlight the impact these deaths have on families, communities and the society as a whole.
Some people never recover from the emotional toll the death has taken. Breadwinners are gone....children are left fatherless, motherless, family dynamics forever changed in the twinkling of an eye. The shock sometimes causes an unhealthy response.
The toll is great! Tragic! Devastating! Preventable!
They don’t follow the roads rule very sad
