Franklin McDonald

A graduate of Kingston College, The University of the West Indies, and the University of Leeds, former head of ODPEM Franklin McDonald will be my guest on SpotOn With Vernon Derby on Monday, July 22, 2024.  The show starts at 100 EST and ends at 1100 EST. Frankly has held various positions in Jamaica and also internationally. He was CEO of the National Environment and Planning Agency, Director for the Office of Disaster Preparedness (Jamaica), and Coordinator, Inst for Sustainable Development at the University of the West Indies.

Franklin is retired and now lives in Canada. He continues to show strong interest in the Caribbean region. We are in the middle of the hurricane season, and he will take us down memory lane of hurricanes which have hit the Caribbean region over the years.

He will share information which many young people will find interesting. The mature folks will find it stimulating to go down memory lane.
