Garbage On Molynes Road

Why are people allowed to dump their garbage at this bus stop on Molynes Rd. This is the bus stop for Tarrant High School children.

Leaking Pipes In Bushy Park

Message from a resident:

Water is supplied to the Community of Vineyard in Bushy Park, St. Catherine by Dynamic Environmental Limited. There has been a leak between 137 and 138 Passion Drive for about 2  months now. Apart from the reports that were made before a report was made to the office on Tuesday September 1 by calling 876 906 4172. I called again on Wednesday September 2, said phone number 876 906 4172 only to find out that the report was not logged so I provided the information again. This time I asked for and provided with the name at the other end and the whatsapp number.

Editor's Note

I assume that the water restrictions in effect now should apply to private water providers. They should ensure that leaks are dealt with expeditiously.

  1. Molynes Road is disgusting, how does one even think it’s ok to throw their garbage along the roadway?

We do not have any civic pride! It is disheartening to travel around the city, what impression do we give to our visitors? Have you seen Heroes Circle? Sometimes I wonder if it’s the city dump!!

Some of those ridiculous fines being imposed on drivers would be better placed on the disgusting among us who have no ‘brought-upsy’ or civic pride and are just plain nasty, flinging their garbage on the streets and sidewalks!

Which MP has the designation of overseeing the Nastiest Constituency? Let’s name him/her as it’s crystal clear that they do not care!

  2. I’m convinced the MP’s don’t care. Jamaica has become one huge ghetto. Garbage everywhere! Shacks everywhere! Dilapidated buildings everywhere! Please don’t blame the conditions on Hurricane Melissa. Where are the parish councils to enforce building and zoning codes? Are the authorities not seeing what we all see?
