Thanks For Making Our Emergency Alert System Work For Hurricane Beryl

The live satellite feed shows that hurricane Beryl is passing by the south of the island. I am still waiting to receive reports about what is happening on the south coast. If you are in that area please WhatsApp me your pictures, videos and messages of what's happening to 876 816-5261.

I am not a weather expert but based on what I see from the live satellite feed, we missed the wrath and fury of a monster hurricane, hurricane Beryl. This is just the beginning of the season so there are more to come.

If you were not ready for this hurricane you are lucky to have another chance. This was just a practice for many of us.

Screen captured at 1642 hours EST of Hurricane Beryl.

It has been a long day doing what I love doing. Thanks to those persons who sent their messages.

Thanks to ODPEM, the Jamaica Constabulary Force, and The Meteorological service for providing the information using the Emergency System I set up. There are 40 persons in the group. Do we have all media houses covered? I think so. Many news media houses and journalists benefitted from it. Let us continue to make use of the Emergency Alert System. Based on the information I received via the Emergency Information System, I spoke live with Nick Papantonis a television host at WFM TV, Channel 9. The interview will be carried on the station this evening in Florida.

We look forward to getting reports after the passing of Hurricane Beryl. I would love to hear about those citizens who helped to make it easier for us to go through today.

Add your comments if you benefitted from the information and also say how the system can be improved. This is a citizens and a public sector partnership for good!
