Astronauts In Space Could Remain Until February 2025 Due to Challenges with The Craft!

 

You might have heard that two astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams will have to remain at the International Space Station(ISS) until about February 2025. The first thing that comes to mind is how will they survive.

First, the craft is equipped to recycle water and to get rid of body waste. While they might not be able to have a bath similar to what they would have on earth, they have been trained to use wipes and other facilities to maintain their personal hygiene. With gravity at a low level, you cannot use water the way we would it on Earth. You cannot afford to have water droplets floating around. These droplets of water can affect the equipment.

The crew will need to take care of themselves by exercising because long periods in space will impact them physically.

For those who are interested in seeing the ISS, you can see it in the sky on Monday, August 12, at 9:15 am.
