Kamala Harris has officially been confirmed as the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party in the United States. Tim Walz Minnesota Governor will be the Vice Presidential Candidate for the Democratic Party.

Kamala Harris transformed herself from that beautiful woman with a winning smile to a charismatic leader who will make Donald Trump redundant at the rally this afternoon. She obviously has electrified the Democrats. Many Jamaicans will have a problem with some of her policies but she represents America and their values are different from ours.

It will not be smooth sailing for President Kamala Harris. We might not have a full-scale world war but there are conflicts in various parts of the world. The Middle East, Bangladesh, Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Haiti, and other countries.

These conflicts will impact the world economically. There is the fight for economic, military and technological supremacy. We are living in a fascinating period. 

Jamaica must tan pan crooked and cut straight. We are part of the world and what happens in the East affects the West and vice versa.

Kamala Harris will be the next President of the United States of America. Her training, background and family links with other countries will make her one of the most powerful and accepted American Presidents worldwide. She is a smart woman so I don't expect her to do anything stupid to waste her fast-growing political capital.
