The following is a statement from the head of the Fire Brigade, Commissioner Steward Beckford, regarding the fires in Kingston today.
There was a fire at the Pearnel Charles Arcade and at a warehouse on Ashenheim Road today.

Is this a mere co-incident?, i think not
ReplyDelete6 fire units and 65 firefighters! We need better systems for fire prevention - smoke detectors and alarms, sprinklers and strategically placed extinguishers should be a must! These things need to be required and inspected for under pain of prosecution and closure.
