I just received another report that there is a fire at the Azan warehouse on Ashenheim Road in Kingston. If you are in the area, please keep me abreast of developments by WhatsApp at 876 816-5261. There was a fire at the Pearnel Charles Market earlier this morning.
Commissioner Stewart Beckford the head of the Fire Brigade Service, is now heading to the locations and he will be issuing a statement shortly.

ReplyDeleteStrange things occur in this country at times!
How often does fire destroy that arcade in downtown Kingston? Clearly it's a fire hazard! The authorities need to address the situation, luckily no one was hurt. Are the vendors insured? Is the arcade building insured? Who owns that building?
Are there more questions than answers?
Tis the season for fire. I'm not feeling any empathy for the arcade vendors anymore,it's coming off as deliberate now
