Meet another top-class artiste who will be in the line-up for the Best of Jazz in the Gardens 2024. He is Bunny Rose. The world's oldest reggae band, Fab 5, will be there along with Everton Pessoa and his Big Band, Gem Myers, Tammi T, and Soulchild Taniece. This is your rare chance to see Bunny Rose in Kingston. The show will be hosted by radio personality, actor, and blogger, Vernon Derby.
Bunny Rose is the most sought-after cabaret performer on the local Jamaican entertainment scene. He has earned his reputation as a consummate professional and well-respected practitioner of his craft. He performs to a diverse group of local and international audiences. He sings in nine different languages, which include English, Spanish, Italian, Latin, Mandarin, German, Greek, Hindi and also French.
He covers a range of genres, from classical to ballads and pop. Bunny is a proud graduate of DeCarteret College, where he topped his year in 2004.
He has performed alongside international recording artistes including Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle and is a favourite performer of Jazz in the Garden in Kingston. He performed at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Virtual Festival in 2021. Bunny travels internationally for private and public events and has worked very closely with the Jamaican Consulate in Miami, giving of his time and talents, and is highly sought after in the South Florida area. He is presently with the Hyatt group.
