The following message was sent to me by a supporter:
Dear Vernon, Obscure traffic lights as you approach the Dunrobin overpass going north on Red Hills Road. This tree is in someone’s yard and needs to be cut. Lights are not visible until you pass the intersection. Please help.
This is another indication of how things are allowed to fall apart without any accountability.. the KSAMC should monitor things like these, the police should play a part in having this matter dealt with. The NWA which is responsible for street lights also has a responsibility to ensure that this matter is dealt with as soon as possible.
What about the responsibility of the person who owns the Tree???
ReplyDeleteThey should cut it for sure. But it can’t be that motorists should stop and point it out to them.
DeleteIt’s been like that for a while. If the owners do nothing “the authorities” should act - whoever they are. Maybe no one is assigned responsibility.
So more motorists will continue to run into the backs of others because they are not able to see that the light is on red.
Every man to his own order - our new national motto?
That is why you have state agencies to do what needs to be done when citizens do not live up to their responsibilities.
