The following message was sent by Frankie Campbell, leader of Fab 5, on Saturday, April 19, 2025:
My brother Alvin Campbell died early this morning. Alvin was a writer, and he was the producer and writer of the RJR Sportsman and Sportswoman award show done on TVJ every year in January. He was working with Fab 5 doing all our contracts, etc. He was also working on Fab 5's book. He will be greatly missed.

ReplyDeleteIt is my profound condolences to the Campbell family for the loss of a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend, ALVIN CAMPBELL. Our hearts go out to Frankie as we know the brothers quite well. There is a strong connection between these brothers to the very end. Take heart Frankie, he is in a better place no more pain no more tears and most certainly he will find Ricky Walters, he will write for Ricky and Ricky will play music on his guitar and sing and the heavenly host will join them. Walk Good ALVIN an tell dem oddas howdy fe all ah we . Memba fe look fe Louis Marriott. And you, Mr Frankie Campbell, be strong. We all are praying for your strength as you π as you deal with this. It is hard, the road is rough me friend, but God will never give you more than you can bear. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.
