Tief Dem Tief Di JPS Electricity Neighbours Report
Unscrupulous neighbors contribute to senior citizens getting electricity disconnected by JPS.
A senior citizen in Shooters Hill, St. Andrew, lost her service from JPS over an escalated bill of close to half a million dollars.
Information ascertained is just over a month ago she received a bill for over JSD $100,000.00
A report was done at JPS office, and a promise was made to her that an investigation of her premises would have be made.
This was not done and the bills continue to escalate, and now her service has been disconnected.
The irony is not that JPS has terminated their service.
Several business places have no electricity this also include the lights on the play field and the street light at her gate.
Tonight she and her grandson is in darkness.
Where is the justice
these uncaring neighnour will just remove their wire and pay thier electrition to conect them to another source who obviously will fall to a similar fate.

JPSCo should have disconnected the electricity before it reached to that level. Persons who live in areas where you electricity will be stolen should enter into a contract for prepaid service with the JPSCo. If people steal your elcctricity then when the funds on you acount is finished there will be no electricity for all. This would ensure that you don't end up with a massive bill which cannot be paid.

It always amazes me how people are quick to call politicians tief, yet so many Jamaicans are cooked, if not, downright corrupt. They seem to think it's OK for them fi tief and at the same time pointing fingers on politicians. Dem tief electricity and water, dem tief people's land, and go inna people bank account and tief from dem.
