Mackie Conscious Views on the Demonstrations

The low response/turnout of the people to the recent call for demonstration about the Dennis Chung appointment by the PNP and similar by the JLP to counteract it, I started to believe the Jamaican people are a lot more mature about politics and this election could be the lowest turnout out in Jamaican history.

It seems all the excitement on social media that's going on are overrated.

I was worried about political violence, but the people seemed not  to care.

Everybody is going about their own business, securing their own life and future without relying on political party promises like we used to do years ago.

It appears that all being done and said by both parties is falling on deaf ears.

On another hand, ingratitude is the new normal.. it matters not how good you are or do for people nowadays, they accept it and don't even thank you.

I frankly believe the result of the next election is already decided no matter what each party does now.

  1. Quite frankly, as a Jamaicans, I cam still numb and unsettled by the Silvera murder, and in particular the shady part played by the Opposition Leader in the whole reporting of the matter, which seemed like a cover up to make a murder appear to be other than what it was.
The opposition seems hell bent on making mountains out of every little mole hill. Their sustained effort in this regard will not make a 9 day wonder out of this horrific murder of Mrs Silvera.
While I am totally against harm of any kind being done to children, shifting the act of murder and what could gave been a cover up of murder, could end up putting in power a trump-like, untrustworthy, neocolonialist leader with no moral authority, to lead Jamaica towards a better future?

  2. Instead of asking where is,Cliff Hughes, why not ask why gas the Silvera murder gone cold? So we can elect a neocolonialists before he is stained?
