Media houses are facing financial challenges at this time, and it is being mentioned that one media house is in serious trouble. This media house is facing a massive debt, my informant said. My informant says that management is now seeking a new home for the entity, and there will be changes in the ownership structure.
The question is, will the new majority owners keep the same presenters? The loss of a particular presenter would result in an earthquake on the national media landscape.
We must preserve our traditional media houses and support them, because that is where one can obtain reliable information.
I will try our best to keep you informed as soon as more information is available. I am waiting to hear more from the management of the media house. Note that I tried to get information from the media house, but there has been no response so far.

ReplyDeleteA lot of businesses are facing financial challenges these last few years. Some have had to reinvent themselves. The factors are many, from rising real estate cost to social media alternatives, to even more persons importing items vs purchasing them locally. Changing times demands adaptive strategies.

ReplyDeleteTraditional media houses also broadcast and publish on the Internet.
