Today I had a very interesting talk with the Honourable Professor Errol Morrison about malaise. He talks about us not feeling well, we take off from work, we take more vitamins, and that feeling is still there. You are at work, and you are not performing the way you ought to.
He went on to talk about the thyroid gland and the adrenal gland. Challenges with these glands can cause you to feel tired.
Prof. Morrison encourages us to see the doctor when we have that feeling of malaise.
Prof. Morrison went on to explain the impact that medications can have on us, giving us that feeling of malaise.
When you begin to have the challenge of that malaise feeling, you need to have certain tests done.
Dr. Morrison looked at the adrenals, and when you produce too much cortisol.
He then took a look at adults and the elderly. We need to make sure that there are no underlying issues for the elderly he said.
We also need to consider the children who are showing symptoms of malaise, Prof. Morris reiterated.
How can one determine that there is a challenge?
Looking at what we eat.

ReplyDeleteSo many are guilty of not listening to the whispers of our body and too many medical practitioners are asking questions in parts. We should redefine health and it's challenges as a whole.
