August 3, 2025; Kingston – The Kingston
and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) proudly congratulates Brithney
Clarke, Miss Kingston & St. Andrew, on her coronation as Miss Jamaica
Festival Queen 2025.
Brithney’s triumph is a moment of pride not only for
our parish, but for the nation as a whole. Her grace, intelligence and
commitment to cultural preservation embody the spirit of the Jamaican woman in
the postIndependence era. She reflects what it means to be confident, creative
and community driven.”
Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Andrew Swaby, who
engaged with Brithney as a contestant at the parish level and later during her
reign as parish queen, commended her accomplishment.
"Brithney Clarke’s victory is a powerful
reflection of the strength, heritage, and resilience that Kingston and St.
Andrew contribute to the national fabric. “We look forward to seeing how she
inspires our young people, especially girls and women, across Jamaica through
her platform and the initiatives she will champion during her reign.”
The KSAMC stands ready to support and collaborate
with Brithney throughout her reign as she undertakes projects that preserve our
heritage, empower youth, and foster community development.
