Crash site.
News coming in is that a plane en route from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport crashed near to a house in Miami, north of Wiles Road. This is in Coral Springs. Police report that two people have died, but no one on the ground suffered injuries. The crash happened at about 10:20 a.m. in the 5000 block of NW 57th Way.
Reports are that the Beechcraft King Air twin-turboprop plane took off from the airport at about 10:14 a.m. en route to Jamaica for relief efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
We pray for the victims' families whose relatives were on their way to helping Jamaicans. Once again, Jamaicans appreciate all the help it has been getting and hope that there are no more losses of lives in trying to help our people.
