The Bahamian Consul General's Video That Went Viral - Jamaicans Love Bahamians!

The Bahamian Consul General serving in Jamaica
.

The Bahamian Consul General was featured in a video inviting victims of Hurricane Melissa to come and enjoy fresh water from the Bahamian desalination water system set up by members of the Bahamian security forces in Falmouth, Trelawny. A simple video that went viral. I am still trying to understand why it did. It came across as very natural and caring. When she said in the video from my little island to your big island,"I said, "Ah, so sweet.'"

Consul General Mrs Alveta Knight, you have the whole of Jamaica falling in love with you. I got a few calls from Jamaicans who fell in love with the video, and they wanted to know if it was a fake video or not. Watch the video below and find out for yourself.

The video is not fake, and it is the Bahamian Consul General posted in Jamaica, Mrs Alveta Knight, speaking in the video. The video became so popular that she had to send out the video shown below. You know the saying, 'It is too good to be true.'  In this case it is good, and it is true.

Thanks to you and the people of your country for your support. I look forward to having you as my guest on Omega Radio, during my programme SpotOn on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 1215 to 1250 EST.

  3. Agreed Vernon except for 2 things. (1) Water was already restored in Falmouth and surrounding environs by NWC. and (2) She from her face and body language, she seems to have an attitude. I wouldn't say"feisty" but cshe looks kinda vexed. Am I the only one to see that?

Big ups to Bahamas though! Love the thoughtfulnessand effort put in.

    1. You are looking into something that is not there. There are many areas across the country that are without water. Anyone passing through Falmouth can get water. Give thanks.
