The sugar coating of bullying cases does not work. Sending out fancy press releases will not change the narrative and the reality of what is happening.
Attacking the Bark Di Trute editor will not solve the problem either. I advise parents that if your child is bullied, take your child to the general practitioner and to the psychiatrist and make sure that you report the incident to the police. Ensure that the police give you a receipt for the report. Even if it means borrowing money, get a lawyer and take civil action.
Let the court handle these bullying cases, and let the offenders' parents pay dearly for the cruelty displayed by their children.
Those who have ears to hear, let them hear or let them feel it.

ReplyDeleteIf I were the government, all thugs would be taken out of regular schools and placed in a "Time Out" institution. The Prime Minister proppsed this years ago when he was Education Minister. I believe that it is full time that we revisit that proposal. It is not right for you to send your children to school to learn and they have to contend with this kind of behaviour. How can they learn? Why do we love to pet and powder with issues until they become a full blown crisis? Are we sitting around and waiting till we reach the point where children start bringing guns to school? This matter needs an urgent solution NOW!
ReplyDeleteTime out institution? How does that make sense? All is needed are schools taking a strong stance against bullying backed up with harsh penalties. The government needs to enact laws to tackle this serious problem.
