There are too many evil people in this country who are doing everything to demotivate the force. They have no respect for their authority. I have seen the videos with citizens abusing officers and inciting people who are being accosted not to listen to the police. You will notice that there is no organization that encourages citizens to relate to the police properly. It's all about how the police relate to citizens. This thing is not a one-way street.

DeleteSome people are very wicked I see that for my self and again we have some lovely decent ones coming from a good home the problem is because of the bad ones we put all of them in the same basket and that we should not do thanks to the ones who are doing the good job

ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly disagree with your stance. That's not policing. It seems because it's what the country is used to, they think it's the way to go. Police should not be shooting civilians. They need batons, becaude they are having problems with the guns. I guess there is no positive changes on the horizon for Jamaica. Jamaica is how it is because the majority support the corruption, but it doesn't matter the numbers behind it, evil will never be good and wrong will never be right. There is a little Bible principle which says that a person who supports wrong, that the Creator doesn't separate such from the actual perpretrators and they will be punished as if they themselves did the wrong. This is not a numbers game, it's a game of morals.

DeleteFighting gunmen? They were never asked to fight gunmen. Police in the real world are trained to use strategies to outsmart and apprehend criminals, including gunmen. It seems most cops join the force for the gun. This is the way to get rid of them, you say. That's probably what the country needs—less force and more policing. .
