Patois, Parliament and The Brebre Behaviour Of Some Parliamentarians

The behaviour of some members of the Jamaican parliament is despicable. It seems that we want our parliament to take on the dancehall culture, which is appropriate for the dancehall and not for our parliament.

  2. Very few of your perspectives I don't agree with and this is one such. In light of the point the mp from south st james made, I believe it was well made and helps to rattle the minds of those willing to and believe it is a matter of class to sheepishly conform to the mental bondage entrenched in a parliamentary system which is crying out for change to align with a nation that has evolved from a colonial past. Or probably we would agree if the rhetoric came from the other side, or probably we are uncomfortable with the mannerisms and appearance of the specific mp so much that we can look past that to the substance of what she brings to the table. I was skeptical of her but admittedly she is batting very well vs others who just there warming bench. I may not agree with every thing she says but...
